Adorned with little ''Hot Wheels'' symbols, these large, black buildings can be found wherever Highway 35 portals exist in our dimension. Mostly made up of a cavernous main room, a control room and a laboratory have also been observed inside during the World Race. The main room features a large, rotating presentation screen and podium.

In AcceleRacers: Ignition, the drivers first go to the cube located in the California Desert. This cube is now in ruins - I am assuming most of the damage was a result of the final battle with CLYP at the end of the World Race.

In Breaking Point, the above mentioned Cube was the midpoint of the race for the Metal Maniacs leadership between Tork and Mark Wylde.

The Handler Proving Ground, where the California Cube is located and where Vert first arrives to participate in the World Race, is named after Elliot Handler, the creator of the original die-cast metal Hot Wheels cars in 1968.
