Kurt Wylde is the aloof and arrogant leader of the Street Breed team. A skilled and aggressive driver, he drives completely without the support of his teammates and prefers to operate alone. Of course this is mainly because he's also Zed-36, requiring secrecy in order to sabotage the World Race.

In the comics, Kurt was barred from the Racing Circuit for shady activities on the track (running an off-spec car in the Grand Prix).

Kurt redeems himself by discovering Gelorum's true nature and turning against her. He assists in defeating Gelorum during the returning of the Wheel of Power to Hot Wheels City.

Kurt's little brother is Mark Wylde on the Wave Rippers team.

The voice of Kurt is played by Brian Drummond.
