A short-lived TV show about the racing experiences of the Hot Wheels Racing Club, it was canceled due to restrictions placed on it by the FCC (who considered the show to be a 30 minute commercial for the toys).

The Hot Wheels Racing Club was lead by Jack ''Rabbit'' Wheeler, a high school kid in Metro City. The Club met at the Wheeler Motors garage - owned by Jack's father, Mike.

There may actually be a veiled connection between Vert Wheeler and Jack Rabbit Wheeler (from the original cartoon series): both are named after one of the original designers of Hot Wheels, a gentleman named Wheeler.

A soundtrack was released in 1969 by Forward Records with music from the show. Music was written and produced by Mike Curb.
