Beginning in 2006, AcceleRacers were sold in stores in new packaging. These packages include two stickers: one with the AcceleRacers logo and one with the relevant team symbol for the car. No trading cards are included with these cars. These cars no longer are marked with ''# of #'' as well.

The cars are being released in their standard, original colors/markings as well as in special series with the original cars decorated in new ways.

It has been rumored that new car models will be released under the AcceleRacers brand. This has not been confirmed nor have new vehicles been spotted.

These 2006 cars continue to be marked with a code on the bottom. This code no longer is being used to download ''goodies'' from the Cartoon Network's website, however.
