These floating robots on the Silencerz team seem to perform different functions. X-88 robots have been seen in the Racing Realms observing as well as attacking Gelorum's Recon Satellites. Back at the Silencerz base, these robots almost seem to have a leadership role by their mannerisms.

An X-88 was stolen from the Silencerz and reprogrammed by Dr. Tezla. This robot, Gig, remembered his original programming, however, and secretly betrayed Dr. Tezla's secrets to the Silencerz.

X-88 robots are capable of delivering an intense shock to targets at close range. They are also able to perform long range communications as well as remotely control other electronic devices.
