Shirako creatively uses his wave-generating bass speakers and his jump jets to clear the road ahead of RD-07s. Again using his jump jets, he maneuvers around the approaching Sweeper. Porkchop and Tork reappear - now sporting hyperpods which they use to save Monkey and knock the Sweeper into space, drifting towards the black hole. The racers continue on, preparing for the upcoming showdown - at which point Dr. Tezla and Lani loose communication with them and the episode ends...
