These cards represent Hot Wheels' entry into the card game fray. The game itself is typically complex with various rules, but it can be simplified for younger kids.

International versions of the die cast cars appear to be shipping with cards that have no text or game-playing symbols (just pictures). I think this is so they can avoid having to print multiple languages on the cards (as required by law in some countries).

An interesting factoid: On the cards, the standard versions of the vehicles are pictured sitting in a garage environment. The Torqued/Hyper/Vectra/v.2 versions are pictured in motion. The ''+'' versions of the cars also appear in the garage (but are mirror versions of the original pictures). The ''+'' versions of Vehicles can only be found in thr Starter Set by the way.
