Monkey is the mechanical expert of the Metal Maniacs. Vocal and extroverted, he tends to shy away from dangerous situations, however.
Full name: Mitch "Monkey" McClurg
Monkey is infatuated with Lani Tam, though the feeling doesn't seem to be mutual.
Monkey's Teku Foil: Shirako
Both are new faces and both are the technical brains behind their teams. Shirakos personality is all about showmanship whereas Monkey tends to hide and be afraid. In spite of this, Monkey is the more vocal of the two; Shirako is quite quiet outside of his car.
The voice of Monkey is played by Andrew Duncan (who also directed the World Race and AcceleRacers movies).
